Theonie Makidis is a member of good standing admitted to the New York State Bar. Ms. Makidis earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg law center. Before attending law school, Ms. Makidis earned her Master's of Science in Forensic Science, with a concentration in Advanced Investigation from the University of New Haven. After earning her Master's degree, Ms. Makidis spent fourteen years as an Adjunct at many local colleges, including Suffolk County Community College.

Ms. Makidis started her legal career as a public defender before opening up her own firm.
